| For the most part, we have had Tricky on a good schedule since he was about a month old. To bed around 8 or 9, waking him up around 11 or 12 to eat again before we would go to bed. Originally, he would wake up for that feeding on his own. Now, it's getting harder and harder to wake him up and he is pretty grumpy when we do. When we were traveling cross country, he went to bed at the same time we did, and for the most part slept through the night. Occasionally he would wake up at odd hours. We let him sleep one night after arriving from 9pm and he slept all the way until 7:30am. Should we just put him to bed and let him wake up and tell us when he's ready to eat? He still drains a bottle at the 11/12 feeding. | |

| How old is he? We never woke William or Noah up for feeds at set times, we fed them when tet woke up so I'm not sure what to suggest. Have u tried letting him sleep until he wakes up for a feed? You may find he is ready to drop the feed all together and will sleep through most of the night x | |

| That's what I'm hoping. He is almost 4 months old. The pediatrician was afraid of letting him go more than 5 hours of sleep because he was early and needed to catch up on weight. I never woke him after his 11/12 feeding, just let him wake me when he was ready. | |

| Ah right how early was he? Has he caught up on his weight now? Both my boys were a lot older before they slept through the night, Noah is 3 and still wakes in the night sometimes, William is sleeping through the night well after what seemed like years of broken sleep and early 4.30am starts lol! He's now sleeping most nights 7-7pm I'm sure lil tricky will not be far off it by the sounds of it! | |

| He was born at 34 weeks. He is in the 2-5% of his weight, but he is actually starting to put some chub on, finally! | |

| We woke up the girls at midnight until they were a year- that way it was on our schedule not theirs iykwim? - Even the nights I went to bed really early (most nights) Big E is always up at midnight, and there were only a couple nights I had to do the midnight feeding by myself because his bar shift went late- otherwise they would wake at 3 AM and then not go back to sleep (Oh, thank GOD those days are behind me!!!!) | |

| Last night we tried it, he was up at 3:30 to eat, but then crashed out again until 8. | |

| That's great! I'm all for "organic" baby schedules, if they work for everyone else in the house!

| Quick update...so the second night he was up at 1am, 5am, 8am... But then during the day he started ROLLING OVER! (Back to Tummy). I think he was so tired from all that last night, that he slept from 9pm to 7:15am STRAIGHT. Maybe it's a trend....but I doubt it. | |

| Sleep is very much necessary or important for newborn baby to grow, so you have to take care about baby bedding or cots or mattresses so baby can sleep without any disturbance. | |
