I'm Jen. Lots is people call be Biz (started as a kid due to my maiden name). After some fertility issues, I'm very lucky to have a healthy, 13 month old boy. His name is Luke. He is pretty happy. He is always chatting (although I'm not always sure what he's saying) and he has a decent number of words in his vocabulary. He's not quite walking yet. Still standing and scooting along the furniture. He eats everything (favorites are haddock, cheese, asparagus, beef, cauliflower). He sleeps from 8-7 and takes 2 naps a day (30 mins and about 2 hours). I nursed/pumped until he was 11 months and he started to cut me off. He still loves his bottle and asks for it at his normal eating times. He uses a pacifier (Wubbanub), but it stays in the crib. He has learned to throw it in there when I take him out! Lol.
I am a teacher, so he spends two days a week with his grandmother and the other three with a babysitter. I'm not working over the summer though so I'm really happy to have a few months to spend with him. He'll still spend a half day a week with the sitter though, so he doesn't get too clingy and the transition in the fall will hopefully be easier.
